Maybe we’re biased, but we’re trying really hard to think of a better place to live. While offering modern & affordable living spaces, Smith Collective is right in the heart of Southport, just 5km from Surfers Paradise and 3km from the Gold Coast CBD. But how do you get there and back?
Well, it’s all good news, because Smith Collective is like a toddler-with-an-ice-cream-in-each-hand spoilt for transportation choice. Pretty much the only type of travel we don’t cater for is time travel. Whatever your preferred departure and arrival method, we’ve got you covered.
Here are all the ways you can get to and from Smith Collective:
G:Link tram
Take the shiny new G, leaving from either the Gold Coast University Hospital Southport platform or the Griffith University platform. Travel north to Helensvale where there is a large Westfield shopping centre, or south to Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach where your next door to the beach.
Road
Train
TransLink services travel to and from the Gold Coast University Hospital Southport stop. To plan your travel via bus, train or G-link, visit the Translink website here.
Bus
There are more than 60 bus routes in the area including “turn up and go services” that operate every 15 minutes or better, seven days a week. The nearest bus stop to the precinct is a leisurely 450m stroll up Nexus Way to the Griffith University bus stop.

We’ve got a dedicated pick-up and drop-off zone (particularly useful for Smiths at 3am who may have misplaced exactly where they live but know it’s somewhere in Smith Collective).
